Information involved when you visit #
You do not need an account to read this site. It does not offer an account registration or checkout flow.
Hosting and security. Vercel hosts the website. Delivering pages and protecting the service involves technical request information, such as IP addresses, requested URLs, browser information, and request times. Hosting and security records are distinct from the audience statistics described below. See Vercel’s Privacy Notice for its processing practices.
Audience analytics. The site uses Vercel Web Analytics to understand which pages are useful and how visitors reach them. Reports can include page views, referring sites, country, browser, and device category. Vercel describes this analytics service as cookie-free and without persistent identifiers that track visitors across websites. This does not mean that hosting the site involves no data processing. Read Vercel’s Web Analytics privacy documentation.
Messages you send. If you email me, your email provider and mine process the message. I receive the address, name, message, and any attachments you choose to send. I use them to respond and manage the conversation. Please do not send passwords, API keys, customer records, or other sensitive information.
Browser storage and search #
The site uses browser-local storage for display preferences, such as theme and gallery settings. These preferences are not an account profile. You can remove them through your browser’s site-data controls; doing so may reset your preferences.
Site search uses Pagefind to search a downloaded index in your browser, rather than submitting the search text to a hosted search service. Downloading the index still makes ordinary requests to the website’s host. Avoid putting personal or confidential information in URLs you share.
Videos, external links, and “Ask AI” #
Some pages embed YouTube videos using YouTube’s privacy-enhanced embed domain. Loading or playing embedded content can involve requests to the provider; privacy-enhanced mode does not make the provider anonymous to your browser. Its processing is governed by Google’s Privacy Policy.
“Ask AI” links open a third-party chatbot with a prepared prompt about this public portfolio. The destination receives the prompt included in that link and handles any subsequent conversation under its own policy. Do not include confidential information unless you understand that provider’s terms. Social links and sharing controls likewise take you to independently operated services.
Why information is used and who receives it #
Information is used to deliver and secure the site, understand readership, remember display choices, and respond to enquiries. The implementation does not include advertising trackers or a visitor-data sales feature. Hosting, analytics, email, and embedded-media providers may process information as described above; they are not all controlled by this site.
Service providers may process information outside your country. The applicable arrangements and safeguards depend on the provider and service; this policy does not promise that all information remains in India.
Retention and your choices #
Browser preferences remain until you clear them or your browser removes them. Hosting and analytics retention depends on the service’s settings and provider policies. Correspondence is retained as needed to handle the enquiry and any related obligations; this site does not promise a fixed deletion period for every provider’s records.
You can clear local site data, use browser privacy controls, avoid opening external services, and contact me about information you have sent. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict use of your personal information. Send requests to [email protected]; I may need information to verify the request. Some records may need to be retained for legal or security reasons.
