Ayush Basak respects intellectual-property rights and expects material on ayushworks.xyz to be used lawfully. This page explains how to report content that you believe infringes your copyright. It is a practical contact and review process; it does not claim that ayushworks.xyz is registered as a designated DMCA agent with the U.S. Copyright Office.
Before sending a notice #
Confirm that you own the relevant copyright or are authorized to act for its owner. Consider whether the use may be licensed, attributed, in the public domain, or permitted by an exception such as fair use. If the concern is an incorrect credit, broken link, factual error, or permissions question rather than infringement, email [email protected] with the affected URL and requested correction.
Copyright infringement notice #
Send a written notice to [email protected] with the subject Copyright notice — ayushworks.xyz. To make the report specific enough to investigate, include:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you believe has been infringed. A representative list may be used when one notice covers several works on this site.
- The exact ayushworks.xyz URL and a clear description of the material you want reviewed or removed.
- Your name and contact details, including an email address and, where required for a formal DMCA notice, a mailing address and telephone number.
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the disputed use is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement that the information in your notice is accurate and, under penalty of perjury, that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act for the owner.
Incomplete reports may require follow-up before they can be evaluated. Do not send passwords, API keys, identity documents, or unrelated personal data.
What happens after a report #
I will review a sufficiently detailed notice, preserve relevant records, and take appropriate action. That may include correcting attribution, contacting the source or contributor, removing or disabling access to material, or declining a request that does not identify an actionable copyright issue. Receipt of a notice does not itself establish infringement.
When material is removed or access is restricted because of a complaint, I may provide the affected contributor with the notice and information needed to understand or contest it. Notices may also be shared with hosting providers, advisers, or authorities when reasonably necessary to investigate the claim or comply with law.
Counter-notice #
If material you supplied was removed because of a copyright notice and you believe the removal resulted from mistake or misidentification, email a written counter-notice containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the removed material and the URL where it appeared before removal.
- A statement under penalty of perjury that you have a good-faith belief the material was removed or disabled because of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, and telephone number.
- If you are invoking the U.S. DMCA counter-notice procedure, the jurisdiction and service-of-process statements required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(g)(3).
Because a counter-notice has legal consequences, consider obtaining independent legal advice before sending one.
Misrepresentation and repeat infringement #
Do not knowingly make false claims or materially misrepresent that content is infringing or was removed by mistake. Such misrepresentations may create legal liability. Access may be restricted for contributors who repeatedly infringe copyright where that remedy is appropriate and technically applicable.
Other rights and governing rules #
This process does not waive any rights, remedies, defenses, or obligations under applicable law. U.S. DMCA requirements may not be the only rules relevant to a dispute involving parties or material outside the United States. This page is general information, not legal advice.
For the site’s reuse rules, read the Terms and Conditions. Personal information submitted with a notice is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
